James and Creepy Campfire Tales were featured in the Chillicothe Gazette  May 9, 2008

This Fall, James will be appearing on Time Warner cable TV!

James completed a vigorous tour of Ohio in the Fall of 2008, hitting several festivals, schools, State Park campgrounds, book stores, and even a haunted hayride event for the city of Chillicothe.

 Book Signing & Keynote at Waverly Rotary Waverly, Ohio March 5, 2009 from  12 p.m. - 1 p.m.

James D.Adams did readings from his books and storytelling at the Frankfort Sunflower Festival on Aug. 30, 2008. He also appeared at the Chillicothe city parks grandview cemetery hayride on October 30, 2008 from 7-10 p.m..

  Book Early to get your most desired dates. All books will be discounted at least 25% day of your author visit through Oct 31, 2008. DUE TO HIGH DEMAND FROM SCHOOLS AND OTHER EVENTS, all bookings to be held will require a Purchase Order or a 25% deposit and a signed contract. THANK YOU.

 Creepy Campfire Tales is for sale on Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, through Baker & Taylor & Ingram, among others as of April 1, 2008. You can order it through any book store and librarians can order through Baker & Taylor. Discussions are being considered for distribution through Quality Books also.

An internet tour of blogs and book clubs is being planned for  May & other dates throughout 2009, as well as a media blitz campaign. James appeared at Hirsch Fruit Farm in Sept. 2007 &2008 during the Apple Harvest Open House. He wishes to thank the Hirsch & Ginther Families & all the great folks who stopped by to meet him. His books are now in California, Canada, Maine, Indiana, Florida, Pennsylvania, and South Africa!

James signed books at the 2007 OELMA librarian conference in Dayton, Ohio on Oct. 18th & 19th. He visited with some old friends from Scholastic, made some new friends at Usbornes, Books Are Fun, Rainbow Books, and several other vendors. His mom, Connie Gullette, was also there running the Our Very Own Book Booth. James was asked to participate in Author Palooza next year, details are pending.

 James signed books at the Shawnee State College Childrens Educator seminars in April 2007.

James offers fun, creative writing instruction for your K-12 students  on a 3 day schedule starting at just $1,500  E-mail for more details. Space is very limited.

James told stories from Creepy Campfire Tales at Paint Creek State Park on October 12th around a campfire to over 70 attendees and did a Hopper’s Pond signing on October 13th. On October 20th, he did a Hopper’s Pond Presentation at Rocky Fork Lake State Park.

James spoke with over 150 schools at OELMA and over 100 at Scoca. Only about 25 spots remain open between March. 08 & October 08. To assure your school a spot on the Spring/Autumn 2008 schedule, and to get the discount above, please e-mail right away with your intentions, even if tentative. Spots are only locked in once a contract has been signed, but all those on the tentative list will be notified before they are bumped off the list. As long as you have an OK for a visit, you should book to hold a spot. You can pick the exact date later, as no more than 3 bookings per week will be made. Mid March -late May dates are filling up fast.

 James spoke at the Scoca meeting again on October 3, 2007.

James did a book signing at Book World Book Store in Chillicothe, Ohio on Sept. 8th, 2007 in conjunction with the Downtown Gallery Stroll during the storytellers Fest.
